The Regional Management Trainee Programme offers you a unique opportunity to work with world-known premium brands and to accelerate your leadership career.
- "FOCUS" FUNCTION DEVELOPMENT
-
Home market
Trainees will be developed within their "focus" function with hands-on experience and participation in the design and implementation of real-work projects. To apply the learnings from this experience, they will design a similar project to be implemented in another market. -
Away from home market
This overseas attachment is designed to develop the trainee’s leadership skills and adaptability by placing them in another market in Asia. Here, they are expected to implement the pre-designed project, thereby fostering cross-fertilization and the practical application of skills learnt in the home market. - After the programme, each trainee will continue to be groomed as a future leader in their choice of "focus" function.
- FUNCTIONAL ROTATION
- Trainees will be exposed to other functions with the aim of developing a wide spectrum of experience and a broad understanding of Pernod Ricard’s business and management style. A significant element will be dedicated to market orientation where the trainees will develop a good understanding of our market landscape, customer base and consumer profiles.
- INDUCTION AND ORIENTATION
- The induction and orientation programme features a week’s Induction Programme in the Regional headquarters in Hong Kong with briefings from senior management on business strategy and direction, an orientation programme in the home market by local management, and extensive exposure to the "focus" function in order to build specific skills and competencies. This initial comprehensive programme aims to provide the trainees with solid knowledge of their "focus" function and facilitate quick immersion into the company culture, values and way of working.
-
LEADERSHIP TRAINING
All trainees will undergo a tailor-made, comprehensive leadership training programme together. This will further promote team building and networking and enhance the core values of Pernod Ricard. -
MENTORING
During the programme, trainees will each be assigned a mentor. Mentors are selected senior executives with broad experience in the Group. Their role is to facilitate quick immersion into the Pernod Ricard culture through personalised guidance and support. -
PERFORMANCE REVIEW
Reviews will be conducted on completion of each major module of the programme with the aim of assisting trainees to achieve the required leadership skills and functional competencies. On completion of the programme, trainees will make a final presentation to the Regional Board of Directors on their achievements over the programme period.
